The War of the Rings is an epic strategy game that immerses players in the world of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, with its gigantic battles, dramatic twists and unforgettable characters.
Decides the fate of Middle Earth
One player takes command of the armies of the Free Peoples. Under this banner, the last free kingdoms of Middle-earth rallied in the Third Age: from the horsemen of Rohan and the proud warriors of Gondor to the mighty Elves of Rivendell. This player must face the terrible hordes of Sauron in a desperate struggle to give the Fellowship of the Ring enough time to reach Mount Doom.
The other player takes on the shadow side and leads the mighty servants and armies of Sauron into the field to subjugate all of Middle-earth: Hosts of Orcs, Trolls and Wolf Riders, and last but not least, the horrific Ringwraiths. He hunts the Ringbearer to return the One Ring to its master and unleashes his mighty armies to break the resistance of the West.
The fate of Middle-earth will be decided by the decisions of the Players.
